Steven's Forest Nursery School

It is our belief that teachers and parents, together, are responsible for the total educational program of the school.

Our primary goal is to understand the basic needs of each individual child and to provide an enriching environment where those needs can be met.

Childhood is an integral and important stage of life. Through joint participation parents and teachers share valuable resources to guide the children in this stage.

The goals and objectives of Stevens Forest Nursery School are:

  • to help children learn to work and play with other children under the friendly guidance of adults

  • to foster each child's independence in meeting and solving problems and adjusting to new experiences

  • to promote positive self-images in each child

  • to teach children to recognize reasonable limits

  • to help children develop positive attitudes toward school
